Ingredients
- 1 to 2 lb. round steak, cut into 2 x 7/8-inch strips
- 1/2 c. butter
- sprinkle of garlic powder
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 green peppers, cut into thin strips
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Add beef to melted butter in skillet.

2Sprinkle with garlic. Cook, stirring until browned.

3Remove meat.

4Add onions and green peppers.

5Saute for 2 minutes.

6Return meat to pan with tomatoes and bouillon cube.

7Simmer for 5 minutes.

8Blend cornstarch, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt.

9Stir into meat mixture.

10Cook until thickened.

11Yields 4 to 6 servings.
