- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 lb. sirloin steak, cut in strips
- 2 medium green peppers, cut in strips
- 1 medium onion, cut in wedges
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 can consomme
- oil
Directions

1Mix cornstarch and 1/2 cup water and set aside.

2Stir-fry beef in 1 tablespoon hot oil; remove.

3Add 1 more tablespoon oil; saute pepper and onion with garlic.

4Add consomme and cornstarch mixture.

5Cook until mixture boils and thickens.

6Stir constantly. Add beef and heat.

7Serve over rice.
