- 2 lb. steak or deer
- 4 large bell peppers
- 2 large onions
- 4 Tbsp. shortening
- dash of garlic powder
- 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 can water
- 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Cut steak into strips; flour lightly.

2Brown in shortening then simmer with lid on skillet until tender.

3Add bell peppers that have been cut in strips; add onions that have been sliced. Cover and simmer until onions can be cut with a fork.

4Mix soup with water; add to meat mixture.

5Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Serve hot over a bed of cooked rice.
