  • 1 1/2 lb. boneless chuck steak
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • water
  • 2 medium green peppers, cut into strips
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Directions

    Cut meat into thin strips, 2 inches long.

    In large skillet, brown meat; turn frequently.

    Stir in mix and 2 cups of water. Cover; simmer for 30 minutes.

    Stir in peppers; simmer for 10 minutes.

    Serve over rice.
