- 1 lb. sirloin tips, cut in strips
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 large green pepper, sliced in thin rings
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- cooked noodles
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 c. hot water
Directions

1Brown meat slowly in hot fat about 15 minutes.

2Add onion and garlic the last few minutes.

3Season with salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water.

4Add to meat.

5Cover and simmer until almost tender (20 to 25 minutes).

6Add tomatoes and green pepper.

7Cook 10 minutes longer.

8Combine cornstarch, cold water and soy sauce.

9Stir into meat mixture.

10Bring to boil.

11Cook and stir 5 minutes longer.

12Remove garlic.
-
13Serve with hot noodles. Makes 4 servings.
