- 1 lb. round steak, fat trimmed
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 c. green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 c. red or green pepper
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
Directions

1Cut beef in strips and then in bite-size pieces.

2Brown meat. Add soy sauce, garlic and ginger.

3Cook until meat is tender, about 30 to 40 minutes.

4Add vegetables except tomatoes.

5Cook 10 minutes.

6Add cornstarch and water.

7Cook until thickened.

8Add tomatoes and heat through.

9Serve over cooked rice.
