- 1 lb. round steak
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 large firm tomatoes
- 2 large green peppers
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 clove garlic
Directions

1Slice beef in 1/2-inch strips, long and thin as possible. Pour the 1/4 cup soy sauce and sugar over meat and marinate for 1/2 hour.

2Meantime, cut the tomatoes and pepper in 1-inch cubes. Heat oil in large skillet.

3Add garlic and ginger.

4After a minute, remove garlic and add peppers.

5Saute for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally so ingredients will cook evenly.

6Add beef and cook an additional 5 minutes.

7Add tomatoes and blend cornstarch with remaining soy sauce.

8Stir into mixture.

9Cook, stirring gently for another minute.

10Serve over cooked rice.
