- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 1/2 lb. steak, 3/4-inch thick
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 can Campbell's onion soup
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into 8 strips
Directions

1Combine flour and seasonings.

2Pound into meat with meat hammer or edge of heavy saucer.

3In skillet, brown meat in shortening and pour off fat.

4Add soup and ketchup.

5Cover.

6Cook on low heat for 1 hour.

7Add green pepper.

8Cook 20 minutes more or until tender.

9Stir now and then.

10Serve with mashed potatoes. Makes 4 servings.
