- 2 lb. beef flank steak
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 green peppers, cored and cut in 1-inch pieces
- 2 cans crushed tomatoes (16 oz.)
- 1 (19 oz.) can bean sprouts, drained
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 6 Tbsp. water
- cooked rice
Directions

1Slice flank steak across the grain into thin strips.

2Brown steak.

3Add onions, pepper, tomatoes, bean sprouts, garlic salt, ginger and water.

4Cook until tender, then add the cornstarch. Mix with a little bit of water for thickening.

5Simmer for 5 minutes.

6Serve over rice.
