Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. Minute rice (before cooking)
- 1 lb. steak
- 1/4 c. flour
- Crisco shortening
- salt and pepper
- 2 c. beef broth or water and bouillon cubes
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
Directions

1Pound steak and roll in flour.

2Cut in strips or pieces. Brown in Crisco.

3Add beef broth or water, garlic, salt and pepper.

4Simmer until meat is tender, about 20 minutes.

5Add together soy sauce, water and cornstarch.

6Simmer 5 minutes.

7Add chopped onion and green pepper.

8Serve over cooked rice.
