Ingredients
- 3 c. hot cooked rice
- 1 lb. round steak, cut 1/2-inch thick
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 large fresh tomatoes
- 1 1/2 c. beef broth
- 1 c. sliced green onions
- 2 green peppers in strips
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. each: water and soy sauce
Directions

1While rice is cooking, pound steak to 1/4-inch thickness.

2Cut into 1/4-inch strips.

3Sprinkle meat with paprika and allow to stand while preparing other ingredients.

4Brown meat in margarine. Add garlic and broth.

5Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

6Stir in onions and peppers.

7Cover and cook 5 minutes more.

8Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce.

9Stir into meat mixture.

10Cook, stirring, until clear and thickened, about 2 minutes.

11Add tomatoes and stir gently.

12Serve over rice.
