- 1-1/2 to 2 lb. meat (beef, venison, etc.) cut into strips
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 cans diced tomatoes with liquid
- 1-2 green peppers, cut into strips
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- cooked rice or chow mein noodles
Directions

1Brown meat in oil.

2Combine next 9 ingredients, and add to meat.

3Simmer until onions and peppers soften.

4Combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste; stir into mixture, and cook until thickened.

5Serve over rice or noodles.
