- pizza dough
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 8 oz. thin sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 c. green bell pepper
- 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions

1Punch down dough.

2Divide into 6 equal parts.

3Roll each part into 7-inch circle on lightly floured surface.

4Mix tomato sauce, mushrooms, basil, oregano and garlic. Spread over half of each circle to within 1-inch of edge. Top with pepperoni, bell pepper and cheese. Fold dough carefully over filling.

5Pinch edges to seal securely.

6Place sandwiches on greased cookie sheet.

7Let rest 15 minutes.

8Heat oven to 375°.

9Brush sandwiches with egg. Bake about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
