- 1 Tablespoon Yeast
- 1 cup Boiling Hot Water
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Shortening
- 1 cup Cold Water
- 5 cups Flour
- 2 packages Pepperoni (6 Ounce Packages)
- 6 cups Grated Mozzarella And Cheddar Cheese
- 1 whole Egg
- 2 Tablespoons McCormick's Italian Herb Seasoning Grinder

2To make the dough, fill a Pyrex measuring cup with 1 Cup hot water from the tap, then place it in the microwave and heat it for 2 minutes.

5In a separate cup dissolve the yeast in 1/3 Cup of warm water.

8In your stand mixer (or large mixing bowl) mash the sugar, salt and shortening together with a fork.
