- 4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 3/4 c. Crisco
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 c. cold water
Directions

1Combine flour, sugar and salt, then add Crisco.

2Using fork or pastry cutter, mix until mixture is similar to coarse meal.

3Using fork or wire whip, combine vinegar, egg and water.

4Stir into first mixture and combine thoroughly.

5Form into large ball and gently pat onto large dinner pate.

6Cut into 5 or 6 triangles and then form into small flat rounds.

7Chill at least 1 hour.

8Roll out on floured surface; fit in pan.

9If unfilled, bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
