Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) pot roast
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
- all-purpose flour
Directions

1Combine first 4 ingredients.

2Rub onto the pot roast.

3In a skillet, brown roast in oil.

4Place in a roasting pan.

5Add water, onion, green pepper and seasoning.

6Cover and bake at 325° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until done. Remove and keep warm.

7Discard bay leaves.

8Make thickening of flour and water.

9Mix well and add to pan juice.

10Cook and stir until thick.

11Serve gravy with roast. Serves 8 to 10.
