- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 6 eggs, separated
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter, margarine and sugar.

2Add vanilla and salt. Blend in egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add sifted dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream.

4Fold in beaten egg whites.

5Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

6Use a 10-inch tube pan.

7Cool in pan 30 minutes before turning out on a rack.
