- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 egg
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 c. water
- about 6 c. flour
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine sugar, salt, yeast and 2 cups flour. In pan, heat margarine and water until very warm (120° to 130°). Beat liquid into dry mixture until blended.

2Increase speed to medium.

3Beat 2 minutes.

4Beat in egg.

5Continue beating 2 minutes more.

6With spoon, stir in remaining 3 to 4 cups flour to make a soft dough.

7Turn on floured surface.

8Knead 10 minutes.

9Shape into ball.

10Let rest 10 minutes.

11Shape and raise 1 hour.

12Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 400° oven.
