- 1/2 c. margarine or shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. persimmon pulp (approximately 2 to 3)
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Beat margarine or shortening until creamy.

2Add sugar, eggs and persimmon pulp.

3Add flour, baking soda, salt and spices. Blend.

4Add nuts last.

5Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375° for 10 minutes.

6These cookies stay moist and soft.
