- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Mix first 4 ingredients well.

2Dust raisins and nuts with a little flour; add all dry ingredients, raisins and nuts to first mixture.

3Add vanilla.

4Bake in greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
