  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. persimmons (run through sieve)
  • 2 c. sweet milk
  • 1 tsp. soda (level)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • scoop of butter (size of small egg)

Directions

    Mix sugar and flour together.

    Add all remaining ingredients, except butter.

    Melt butter in pan and pour into batter.

    Bake in slow oven at 250° to 300° for 1 hour.
