- 2 c. persimmon pulp
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/3 c. melted butter
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Combine persimmon pulp, sugar and eggs.

2Sift flour with baking powder.

3Add to persimmon mixture alternately with a combination of milk and baking soda.

4Use a pastry brush to coat baking pan well with melted butter.

5Stir remaining butter into 13 x 9 x 3-inch baking pan.

6Bake in preheated oven at 325° for 1 hour.
