- 4 large cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 c. fresh basil leaves (or 4 Tbsp. dried basil, 1 c. fresh parsley and 1/3 c. water)
- 1/4 c. pine nuts
- 1/4 c. salt
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In a blender or food processor, combine garlic, basil, pine nuts and salt.

2Blend at low speed until ingredients are chopped fine and form a paste.

3Gradually blend in oil alternately with cheese, blending until well mixed.

4Store in a jar and cover with a layer of olive oil.

5Keep refrigerated.
