  • 5 big handfuls of basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup of pine nuts (toasted)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (add in after pesto made)
  • 1 lemon (juice of)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3/4 cup evoo

Directions

    Toast pine nuts

    Place ingredients (minus parmesan) and 1/2 cup of oil into blender and blend together

    With the motor running slowly add the other 1/4 cup oil until pesto is thick and smooth

    Stir in parmesan cheese
