- 2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. walnuts, chopped
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together.

2Add nuts and raisins.

3Cream sugar with mayonnaise until smooth.

4Add soda to boiling water and mix with dry ingredients and mayonnaise.

5Bake in 2 (9-inch) cake pans, greased and floured, at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Frost with icing of your choice (sour cream icing is good).
