  • 9 c. water
  • 4 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. canning salt
  • 1 grape leaf
  • 2 or 3 bulbs garlic
  • 1 pod hot pepper
  • 2 to 4 pieces dill

Directions

    Place grape leaf, pepper, garlic and dill in bottom of jar; pack tender green beans in jar. Bring water, salt and vinegar to rolling boil. Boil for 5 minutes; pour over beans in jar. Seal and put in oven on baking sheet at 250° until beans change color. Ready to eat in about 2 weeks.
