  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1/2 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 12 hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 onions, sliced
