Halibut Cheese Bake

- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. halibut
- butter
Directions

1Clean and rinse halibut.

2Arrange pieces in single layer in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

3Dot with butter.

4Bake at 375° for 1/2 hour basting with butter frequently.

5While halibut is baking, mix together grated cheese and mayonnaise.

6(Mixture will stick to spoon in clumps.)

7When halibut is almost done, top with cheese and mayonnaise mixture.

8Continue to bake until cheese has melted and is lightly browned.
