  • 3 doz. hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 qt. white vinegar
  • 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. pickling spice
  • 2 or 3 dashes ground red pepper
  • 1 c. water

    Mix all ingredients except eggs; let come to a boil.

    Layer eggs in large container.

    Pour mixture over eggs.

    Let stand 24 hours before eating.
