- 2 Tbsp. mustard
- 2 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 6 whole cloves
- 12 hard-boiled eggs
- 2 small onions, thinly sliced
Directions

1Blend mustard and a small amount of vinegar in saucepan.

2Add remaining vinegar, water, sugar, salt, celery seed, mustard seed and cloves; mix well.

3Bring to a boil.

4Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

5Cool.

6Combine whole eggs and onion slices in bowl.

7Add cooled vinegar mixture.

8Chill, covered, overnight. Yield:
