  • 4 lb. small okra
  • 10 pods hot pepper
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 3/4 c. pickling salt
  • 8 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Wash okra.

    Pack 1 pepper and 1 clove garlic in pint jar. Combine salt, vinegar and water; boil.

    Pour over okra.

    Wait 30 minutes; pour off.

    Reheat.

    Pour back in jars and seal.

    Makes 10 pints.
