Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. chili sauce
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 3 lb. large shrimp, cooked and peeled
  • 2 medium onions, thinly sliced and rings separated
  • 8 bay leaves

Directions

    Blend together first 8 ingredients.

    Layer shrimp, onions and bay leaves in bowl.

    Pour sauce over all and cover.

    Marinate in refrigerator at least 24 hours.

    Serve in bowl with toothpicks or spear onto decorative picks and push into half head of red cabbage.

    Serves about 20 guests.
