- 3 c. plain all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 egg, beaten
- 5 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Sift all-purpose flour and salt together.

2Blend in shortening.

3Mix egg, water, and vinegar.

4Mix in flour mixture until dough makes a ball.

5Divide into 2 ball.

6Flatten a ball and roll out to a circle on floured board to fit pie pan.

7Prick sides and bottom of dough.

8Bake 425° for 15 minutes. Makes 2 pie crusts.
