  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/3 c. lard
  • 1 egg, beaten plus ice water to make 11 Tbsp. liquid
  • 1 tsp. vinegar (add to liquid)

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar and salt.

    Cut in lard with a pastry blender.

    Add liquid, one or two tablespoons at a time.

    Makes 2 double crust pies.
