  • 5 c. flour
  • 1 lb. or 2 c. lard
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • ice water

Directions

    Crumble ingredients with pie blender. Beat 1 egg in cup and finish filling cup with ice water.

    Mix all together.

    Roll into crust.

    Makes 2 (2-crust) pies or 4 single or 8 apple dumplings. Crust freezes well.
