- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 tsp. salt
- 8 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1Sift together flour and salt.

2Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender until the size of small peas.

3Sprinkle water 1 tablespoon at a time over part of the mixture.

4Gently mix with a fork.

5Push to one side of bowl.
-
6Sprinkle next tablespoon of water and repeat until all is moistened.

7Gather with fingers and form into a ball (mix will be crumbly).

8Let stand several minutes.
-
9Divide dough into 4 balls.

10Flatten slightly and roll on lightly floured surface.

11Makes 2 double crust pies.
