- 2/3 c. milk, scalded and cooled to lukewarm
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. butter
- 3 beaten eggs
- 2 regular size pie filling (for 8-inch pie)
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Dissolve sugar and yeast in lukewarm milk; set aside.

2Add flour and butter; cut in just like for pie crust.

3Add milk and yeast to egg yolks; mix well.

4Divide dough into 2 parts.

5Roll one part to fit into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

6Spread filling over dough and cover with remaining dough.

7Let rise 1 hour.

8Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

9Frost with powdered sugar glaze.
