  • 4 large baking potatoes
  • 1 lb link sausage, of choice
  • kosher salt, to taste

Directions

    Wash the potatoes, scrubbing with a brush, but do not peel, then dry with towel.

    Using an apple corer, bore hole through the center of the potato and stuff the link into the hole.

    Sprinkle potato with Kosher salt and wrap with aluminum foil, place over hot coals and cook until tender (approximately 1 hour, may be longer, depending on heat of coals).
