  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups raw long grain rice
  • 1 quart hot beef or chicken broth
  • Salt and freshly ground white pepper

Directions

    Melt butter in heavy skillet or saucepan. Saute the rice, stirring the rice for 5 min or until browned. Add the broth,salt and pepper. Cover the pan with a cloth,then with a lid and simmer without stirring until the rice has absorbed all of the liquid.
