  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts (as taste desires)
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 20 oz. can undrained, crushed pineapple

Directions

    Put all ingredients in a bowl and stir well; do not use mixer. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.

    Cool and ice with buttercream frosting.
