- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 c. white sugar
- 4 oz. instant vanilla, chocolate or butterscotch pudding
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- coconut and nuts (for top)
Directions

1Prepare yellow cake mix as directed on the box.

2Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

3While cake is baking, boil pineapple and sugar 5 minutes.

4Pour over cake as soon as it comes out of the oven. Poke holes on top.

5Let cool.

6Prepare instant pudding as directed and spread over cooled cake.

7Spread 8 ounces Cool Whip over pudding.

8Sprinkle coconut and nuts on top.

9Refrigerate.
