- 1 (16 oz.) can pitted tart red cherries, drained
- 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- few drops red food coloring
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter, melted
Directions

1In medium saucepan, combine drained cherries, undrained pineapple, granulated sugar, quick-cooking tapioca, lemon juice and red food coloring.

2Let stand 15 minutes; cook and stir until thickened and clear, 5 to 10 minutes.
