  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped (reserve a few for garnish)
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
