  • 4 c. bread cubes
  • 2 c. chopped apples
  • 1 (20 oz.) can drained crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • cinnamon
  • brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. walnuts (optional)

Directions

    Layer bread, nuts, apples and pineapple into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs and milk.

    Pour over bread and fruit.

    Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.

    Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 60 minutes.

    Great with ham.
