- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. soft butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 can (8 1/2 oz.) crushed pineapple
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease a loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch).

3Cream brown sugar, butter and eggs until fluffy.

4Measure flour by sifting.

5Blend dry ingredients.

6Stir half the flour mixture into creamed mixture.

7Add pineapple and juice, then remaining flour. Blend in nuts.

8Pour into pan.

9Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over top.

10Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick stuck into center comes out clean.

11Cool before slicing with a thin, sharp knife.
