- 2 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 small (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
- 2 Tbsp. hot water
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. butter extract
- 1 tsp. coconut extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 4 egg whites, beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except nuts and egg whites.

2Beat well and then add nuts.

3Fold in egg whites.

4Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

5Place in cold oven; set oven at 325° and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.

6Let cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
