Pineapple Pie

  • 2 unbaked pie crusts
  • 1 large (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo

Directions

    Drain pineapple juice into measuring cup.

    Add water to make 1 cup.

    Bring to boil pineapple, water and oleo.

    Stir cornstarch in 1/4 cup of cold water, then pour in and stir until pineapple are thick.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Top with other crust. Slit holes in top to let steam escape.

    Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown in 350° oven.

    Cool before cutting.
