Pineapple Pound Cake

- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 3 c. sifted plain flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. undrained crushed pineapple and juice
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream shortening, margarine and sugar.

2Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each.

3Sift flour with baking powder; add to creamed mixture, 1 spoonful at a time, alternately with milk.

4Add vanilla; stir in pineapple and juice.

5Blend well.

6Pour into a well-greased 10-inch tube pan or 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

7Place in a cold oven at 325° and bake 1 1/2 hours.
