- 1 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
- 2 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 can crushed pineapple, undrained (15 1/4 oz.)
Directions

1Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar.

2Add eggs.

3Then alternate flour and remaining ingredients.

4Beat with mixer for 5 minutes. Add pineapple and stir with spoon.

5Do not beat pineapple in. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or 10 minutes longer if not done. Bake in tube pan.
