Pineapple Salad

  • 1 large can chunk pineapple
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 envelope Dream Whip

Directions

    Drain juice from pineapple.

    Place juice in double boiler. When hot, add sugar, cornstarch, salt and eggs which have been beaten together.

    Cook until thick.

    Remove from fire and cool. Whip the cream and fold into pudding mixture.

    Combine pineapple and marshmallows.

    Pour mixture over fruit and stir together.

    Put in refrigerator to chill.

    Can stand overnight.

    You can add 1 cup nuts, if desired.
